MODEL - Manufacture's model number. Usually on the back or on the side of the monitor's metal chassis. DO NOT confuse this number with the CRT part number printed on a label placed on the CRT or Picture tube.

SIZE - Dimension of the CRT measured diagonally across the picture tube in inches. ("=inches)

MONITOR or CRT TYPE - Type of video monitor  COLOR RASTER or X Y VECTOR.

COLOR RASTER - Uses -sync or +sync signals to sweep the electron gun across the screen. Monitor functions like a regular TV(except without tuner) or Computer Monitor (except different resolutions and input signals).

X-Y VECTOR (COLOR or BLACK & WHITE) - Monitors that do not have or use a sync input. The Electron beam(s) or "Dot" is controlled by two voltages using a X-Y quadrant system (Tempest (Color Vector), Battle Zone (B & W Vector)).

VIDEO MONITOR GET WELL KITS - A monitor capacitor kit that includes additional parts. Monitor Get Well Kits may include power transistors, resistors, control pots and even a flyback transformer. These extra parts are used to replace the transistors mounted to the monitor's metal case, to upgrade the monitor or to repair a monitor that needs more then just the electrolytic capacitors replaced.
A list of the extra parts in these Rebuild kits will be included in the description of the 'Rebuild' or 'Get Well' cap kit versions.

SPECIAL ORDER - Kit is currently out of stock or the kit is so seldom requested that Pinball Medic does not keep it in inventory. For both circumstances, kits can be ordered, however, a three week delay in shipping will occur.

Special Note: We are currently restocking particular kits as we have let our cap kit inventory become depleted. We are also deciding which kits are popular enough to keep in stock (limited storage space).  Parts needed for game restorations and field service both take priority and a toll on our parts inventories. Not all parts listed on this page are immediately available.
